## Description

Priority Care puts your store on its own server and moves it to the front of the queue. You get everything in Managed Care, plus a VM or dedicated server sized for your store, critical security patches within 12 hours on any day, 6 developer hours a month and a quarterly review of performance, security and checkout.

### Who it's for

Busier stores: more than about 100,000 sessions a month or 50,000 products, heavy imports, feeds or ERP sync, or a store that must not share a server for contractual or compliance reasons. Also stores that regularly need more than 3 developer hours a month.

### What's included

- **Everything in Managed Care.** Staging, monthly Hyvä and extension updates with a changelog, hourly database backups with quarterly restore drills, checkout monitoring and a monthly report.

- **Your own server.** A VM or dedicated server for your store only, from 8 vCPU, 32 GB RAM and 200 GB NVMe storage, sized at onboarding, with its own Redis, OpenSearch and staging copy.

- **Fully managed.** Only we log in to the server. You get your Magento admin; code changes, extension installs, theme changes and deploys go through us, tested on staging first.

- **Security patches within 12 hours.** Critical, actively exploited issues patched within 12 hours, on any day of the week.

- **6 developer hours a month.** For any work. Unused hours roll over one month, then expire. Extra work is $125 per hour.

- **Faster support.** We respond to other issues within 2 business hours. Store-down issues within 1 hour, 7 days a week, 08:00–22:00 ET; outside those hours there is a phone and SMS emergency line, answered on a best-effort basis.

- **Quarterly review.** A performance and security review, a check of the checkout and order flow, and a capacity plan for the coming months.

- **Uptime target 99.9%.** Service credits start below 99.5%. Your store runs on one server, not a high-availability cluster, so we state the target honestly rather than promise more.

### Requirements

- **Card payments through an iframe or redirect.** We only host stores whose card entry is an iframe or a redirect from the payment provider, such as Stripe Elements, the Payment Element or Stripe Checkout, or an equivalent hosted-field or redirect gateway. Card data must never be entered into or pass through our servers. If your store uses a direct-post or server-side card gateway, we move it to a supported gateway first, as part of a migration or as a quoted job.

- **A supported platform.** Magento 2 Open Source or Mage-OS, on a release we still support. Older releases and Magento 1 stores are upgraded or migrated first.

- **Changes go through us.** There is no SSH, SFTP, file or database access for customers, even on your own server. Tell us what you need and we deploy it after testing on staging.

- **A 12-month minimum term,** because the server is provisioned for your store.

### How onboarding works

- **Send the request form** on this page with your store URL and the plan you are interested in. Nothing is charged at this stage.

- **Intake call.** We go through your platform version, extensions, integrations, traffic and payment gateway, and size the server for your store.

- **Agreement and payment link.** You receive the terms and a secure Stripe payment link for the plan and term you chose, monthly or yearly.

- **Server build, take-over audit and move-in.** We build your server and staging copy, copy the store over, run a baseline malware scan, and set up Cloudflare, monitoring and the first offsite backup, including a test restore. If we migrated your store, this step is part of the migration and costs nothing; otherwise it is a one-off $950.

- **You check, we switch.** You test the store on the new server, then we switch DNS at a quiet time agreed with you.

- **Ongoing care.** Updates, patches, backups and monitoring run as described above, with a report every month and a review every quarter.

### What's not included

These are quoted separately or charged at $125 per hour beyond your included hours:

- A high-availability setup (a second, standby server). Not offered yet.

- Major platform upgrades, such as Mage-OS 3 to 4, and PHP upgrades beyond the versions we support: quoted as projects.

- New features that need more than your included hours.

- Third-party licence fees: Hyvä products, paid extensions and your payment provider's fees.

- Email hosting and email marketing. Store email goes out through your own mail provider.

- SEO and content work.

- Fixing bugs in extensions we did not write. We report them to the vendor and work around them within your hours.

- Payment integrations where card data reaches the server, and PCI certification of your business.

### FAQ

#### Is Priority Care a 24/7 service?

Not yet, and we would rather say so. Store-down issues get a response within 1 hour from 08:00 to 22:00 ET, 7 days a week. Outside those hours you can use the phone and SMS emergency line, and we respond as soon as we can, but we do not promise a response time overnight. Critical security patches are applied within 12 hours on any day.

#### Can I get SSH or SFTP access?

No, not even on your own server. Hosting is fully managed: only we log in to the servers, and you get your Magento admin. Tell us what you need and we deploy it, tested on your staging copy first, within your developer hours or as quoted work. If you work with your own developer, they hand the change to us and we test and deploy it.

#### Which payment methods can my store use?

Any gateway where the card is entered in an iframe or on a page served by the payment provider: Stripe Elements, the Payment Element or Stripe Checkout, or an equivalent hosted-field or redirect gateway. Card data never enters or passes through our servers, which keeps your store in the simplest PCI scope (SAQ A). This is a firm requirement on every plan. If your store posts card numbers to its own server today, we move it to a supported gateway before it goes live with us.

#### Where does my store run?

On a VM or dedicated server used by your store only, sized at onboarding, with Cloudflare in front. It does not share a server with other customers' stores.

#### Which platforms and versions do you host?

Magento 2 Open Source and Mage-OS on a release we still support, with Hyvä or another theme. Magento 1 and out-of-support releases need an upgrade or migration first; see our migration services.

#### How do I pay, and is there a minimum term?

After the intake call we send you a secure Stripe payment link for your plan, monthly or yearly. Hosting is not sold through this store's cart. The minimum term is 12 months because the server is provisioned for your store. Yearly plans are paid in advance at the price of 10 months, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the year; monthly plans can be cancelled after the minimum term, effective at the end of the paid month.

#### What does setup cost?

Nothing if we migrated your store. Otherwise a one-off $950 take-over: an audit (core changes, extension inventory, malware scan), the move-in and the DNS and Cloudflare switch. If the audit finds a compromise or an unsupported core, the clean-up is quoted separately before we go ahead. With a migration and a yearly plan, the first 2 months are at 50%.

#### What happens if the uptime target is missed?

The target is 99.9%, and credits start below 99.5%: 10% of that month's fee for every full 0.5% below 99.5%, up to 50% of the month's fee. Announced maintenance does not count as downtime.
