**Upgrade your Magento 2 store to Mage-OS 3.6 (or the latest release when we start) and move it onto a Hyvä storefront.** Your database is upgraded in place, so products, customers and orders stay exactly where they are. We replace the third-party extensions your store depends on with our own purpose-built ones, and switch you over once you have signed off on a working staging copy. This is a fixed entry package with a clearly defined scope, starting at $699.99. The options above cover the most common additions, and anything bigger gets a written quote before any work starts.

### How it works

- **Assessment.** After you order, we contact you to collect access (admin, code, database copy) and review your Magento version, extensions and customisations. You get a written plan that confirms what is in scope. If your store needs more than the package and options cover, you get a quote before any work starts.

- **Staging build.** We copy your store to a staging host and upgrade the copy to Mage-OS, working through the known upgrade blockers (dependency conflicts, schema changes, PHP 8.x incompatibilities) one by one.

- **Data check.** Product, customer and order counts, prices, a sample of orders and customer logins are compared against your live store.

- **Extension replacement.** We agree with you which extensions are still needed, replace the agreed ones with purpose-built extensions, update or remove the rest, and make sure no Luma-only code is left on the storefront.

- **Theme.** The Hyvä storefront is set up in your brand, and your CMS pages and blocks are checked and adjusted for the new theme.

- **Testing.** We check browsing, search, account login, cart and checkout with test payments, order emails, cron and the admin. Then you test the staging site and tell us what to fix.

- **Cutover.** We agree a quiet time with you, take a fresh copy of the live database, upgrade it, deploy and check the live store end to end. The switch itself usually takes a short maintenance window, with a tested rollback plan in case it is needed.

- **Support window.** For 30 days after launch we fix bugs in anything we upgraded or built, and we watch the logs for errors.

You don't have to. The assessment happens after you order. If it shows your store needs more than the package and options you chose, we send a written quote for the difference first, and if you decide not to go ahead you get a full refund. #### Why Mage-OS instead of staying on Magento Open Source?

Mage-OS is a community-driven distribution that stays compatible with Magento Open Source, so your data, your admin and most extensions carry over. It ships releases on its own schedule and is the platform we build and test our extensions on.

#### How long does it take?

It depends on your version, your extensions and how quickly we get access and feedback. We give you a realistic schedule in the assessment, not before. A store inside the base scope typically takes a couple of weeks, not months.

#### Will my store be offline?

Your store keeps trading while we build and test on staging. At cutover there is a short maintenance window, which we schedule with you for a quiet time of day.

#### What happens to my SEO?

Your URLs stay the same because the catalog is upgraded in place, not rebuilt. We check redirects and the sitemap after cutover. Nobody can honestly promise rankings, and we don't.

#### I'm on Adobe Commerce. Does this apply?

This package is for Magento Open Source. Adobe Commerce stores use paid-edition features that Mage-OS does not include, so they need a quote.

#### Do I own the result?

Yes. The store, its data and its theme are yours. The replacement extensions are licensed to your domain like any extension sold here, with updates included.
